Co-Producer

"Donny"

Terrell Edwards

To casual observers, Milwaukee native and singer/songwriter Terrell Edwards seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, breaking out with his soulful, seductive voice and clever renditions of classic American standards. This charismatic crooner—often referred to as “the perfect blend between Sinatra & Motown" -- has been endearing audiences around the globe for years with his unique blend of classic jazz, rhythm & blues vocals, engaging storytelling, and catalog of memorable music.

Edwards had the good fortune of finding musical success from the least likely of sources… Jay Leno. After a three-year performance run at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas opening for Leno, it was the comedy icon who encouraged Edwards to move to Los Angeles to further his career. Edwards immediately grabbed the attention of industry leaders as a singer, and also as a songwriter and producer, and soon after became the lead singer for East Bay Soul, the jazz funk band led by Greg Adams (Tower of Power). As a solo artist, Edwards developed "The Unforgettable Show," which pays tribute to some of the greatest jazz and soul artists of our time!

Terrell uses music as a tool to spread messages of positivity and unity -- which is his ongoing mission -- as well as to raise awareness about human issues with compassion and hope. This became even more significant when he was asked to team up with the Get Together Foundation for this project that pays tribute to the incredible Donny Hathaway. "I've sung Donny's songs for years and have always felt a kinship to the man and gift he was to the world," says Edwards. "Donny's untold story parallels my own in many ways."
